SHLAA Rural Sites

The Council is preparing a SHLAA to provide evidence to help support the delivery of sufficient land to meet the community’s housing needs through the preparation of the emerging Cotswold District Local Development Framework.
The SHLAA Methodology, published in March 2008, explains the approach that has been taken to provide this evidence base. The SHLAA documents published here present the sites assessed in the remaining 'rural' settlements, as defined in the current Local Plan; and are the fifth and final set of settlements to be examined in the SHLAA process.
These documents are not presented for consultation, but are a factual record of events only. The raw data is anticipated to be available in late October, with a published final report to follow.
Please note that sites were assessed by written representation from the Panel as it was agreed that a further formal meeting was not necessary.
