SHLAA Chip Cam, Andov, Nleach, Upper Riss Responses
The event is not currently available for consultation.
The Council is preparing a SHLAA to provide evidence to help support the delivery of sufficient land to meet the community’s housing needs through the preparation of the emerging Cotswold District Local Development Framework.
The SHLAA Methodology, published in March 2008, explains the approach that has been taken to provide this evidence base. For pragmatic reasons it has been decided to examine housing sites on a settlement by settlement basis and the documents published here present the sites assessed in Chipping Campden, Northleach, Andoversford and Upper Rissington, the fourth set of settlements to be examined after Fairford, South Cerney, Stow-on-the-Wold and Lechlade; and after Bourton-on-the-Water, Moreton-in-Marsh and Tetbury; and Cirencester. The fourth Panel concludes the assessment of the Principal Settlements (as classified in the Local Plan) and includes, for pragmatic reasons, two further 'rural' settlements to which site visits had already been made at the time of preparing for the Advisory Panel.
These documents are not presented for consultation, but are a factual record of events only.
NB / The 'Panel Collated Comments' document has a number of tabs containing various pieces of information. Please note that those sites that already have planning permission are considered to already be 'suitable', but will be reviewed due to possible non-implementation. These are only shown highlighted in lilac on the 'all' tabs.
Further settlement documents will be published in the coming months, with the final SHLAA document due for publication at the end of May
